Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanon native, is an Lebanese and British barrister, who has been an activist for human rights for several years. As a graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished career in the fields of human rights and international law have won her international acclaim. Some of her most famous clients are various nation states including Armenia and its struggle for recognition by the Turkish Government to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and later was married with American star George Clooney, instantly making her a household names within pop culture.
